The position is placed within the secretariat unit, which in Täby Municipality is responsible for registration and committee administration.
About the job
As a registrar at Täby Municipality, you will become a key person in a small, dedicated team with significant responsibility within the municipality's information and case management. You will handle typical registrar tasks, such as receiving and registering incoming documents, providing access to public documents, and being responsible for archiving and acting as an archive coordinator/representative.
An important part of the role is to provide support and contribute to the development of operations within information management. You will have the opportunity to drive improvements, identify areas for development, and train colleagues in the municipality's processes. The role suits you who are engaged, take responsibility for both your own work and the group's common mission, and enjoy collaborating to enhance the quality and efficiency of the municipality's information flow.
In this role, you will have close contact with employees, politicians, and citizens. You will handle both internal and external inquiries and conduct confidentiality assessments when disclosing public documents. Together with the municipal registrar and other registrars in the secretariat unit, you will be part of a team where engagement, accuracy, and interest are crucial.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with an archive or registrar education, or another education that we consider equivalent, and who has experience with similar tasks. You have good knowledge of laws such as the Freedom of the Press Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, GDPR, and the Archives Act.
It is an advantage if you have knowledge of information security, experience from a politically governed organization, or an understanding of decision-making processes, as well as experience with the case and document management system Evolution.

You have good collaboration skills, are attentive and patient, while also enjoying taking your own initiatives and driving tasks forward. You can express yourself very well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, and have good computer skills, including Microsoft 365.
